Rob Scaffe lives in Kingsport, Tennessee and specializes in Handmade furniture, cabinets, millwork and general woodworking. Rob will be offering classes in beginning and advanced woodworking techniques, such as “Perfecting the Dovetail” “Crafting a Drawer” and more extensive projects such as a “Shaker Style Saturday Table” and a Shaker Style bin. Shaker style chest. Size: 34.75″Wide X 15.25″Deep X 25.5″High.Cherry with natural shellac finish. Secondary wood, at back and drawer bodies is white pine. Traditional construction with pegged mortise and tenons, hand cut dovetails and floating breadboard ends at top. A very practical size and design, with drawer storage below and lockable chest above with a removable “till”. Chest sits in lower frame, so can be separated for transport.
A useful bin that can be hung on a wall or set on a countertop. Perfect for coffee pod storage, with a small drawer. Dovetails are hand cut. Made of Cherry with a natural finish. 11.25″ Wide X 8.5″ Deep X 15.5″ High.
Wall Clock made of Curly Maple. Natural Shellac finish. Traditional joinery with half blind dovetails at case. Mechanical movement with gong strike on the half hour and counts out the hours.
